    Pain is really relative. Everyone has a different pain tolerance. However, we are not going to joke with you - it really hurts. Just not much. Some compare it to the "feeling of a hot scratch". But people wont come back for tattoo after tattoo if it hurts that much. Most of us dont get hurt, but the beauty of the tattoo and the pride that comes with wearing it far outweighs the pin stick here and there.How about using some kind of anesthetic cream? Such products are really not recommended.

  • How Much Is It Going to Cost?

    When it comes to tattoos, you get what you pay for. Yes, there are many people who get tattoos for a very small fee. But look for quality and be prepared to pay for it. Never bargain over the price of a tattoo. This is disrespectful to the artist. Think of it this way: its a work of art that youll wear for the rest of your life.

  • Should I Tip My Tattoo Artist?

    Tipping is a very nice gesture. But there are no real hard and fast rules for tipping.

  • What Should I Get? And Where?

    Its all a matter of personal taste. You can get whatever you want and whatever your artist is willing to do. If you have an appointment, call and reschedule until you feel well again.

    If youre getting a tattoo, especially as an expression of your personality, why would you want the same tattoo as someone else? Instead, find other images of what youre looking for and let your artist draw a custom design for you. Example: If you want to get a tattoo of a penguin standing on a glacier, find real photos of penguins and glaciers. If you want a blue rose tattoo wrapped around a cross, find images of real roses and crosses that you like. If the images dont show exactly what you want, just take them to your artist to use as a guide and tell them what changes you want to make to the original images. A true artist will gladly accept the challenge of creating an individual work.

Me and my mum were booked in to have a tattoo today by Dave at 11am. This would have been my mum's first tattoo which she was really looking forward to getting, having spent a long time choosing the right artist etc. We arrived at approx 10.50am to be told Dave isn't there, he's not in today... and won't be able to tattoo us today. My mum is incredibly disappointed and we've had no apology from Dave himself. I know mix-ups happen but the appointment was booked well in advanceadvance and a deposit was paid (which we've now got back). The one positive was that the apprentice who dealt with us was very apologetic and as helpful as he could be (unfortunately we didn't get his name)

Funny conversation (keeps my mind off the pain), great people and awesome tattoos! I can't wait for the next session.
