  • How Much Is It Going to Cost?

    When it comes to tattoos, you get what you pay for. Yes, there are many people who get tattoos for a very small fee. But look for quality and be prepared to pay for it. Never bargain over the price of a tattoo. This is disrespectful to the artist. Think of it this way: its a work of art that youll wear for the rest of your life.

  • Should I Tip My Tattoo Artist?

    Tipping is a very nice gesture. But there are no real hard and fast rules for tipping.

  • What Should I Get? And Where?

    Its all a matter of personal taste. You can get whatever you want and whatever your artist is willing to do. You can choose a painting from the wall or have them create a custom piece just for you. The only limit is your own imagination. As for where you should do it, just keep in mind what you do at work and what social circle you are in. You may want to place your tattoo somewhere where it can be easily hidden by regular clothing.

  • What Is the Best Time of Year to Get a Tattoo?

Not to mention, its very imprudent to bring your disease into a tattoo studio and risk passing germs on to others, especially your artist. If you have an appointment, call and reschedule until you feel well again.

  • Where Can I Find Pictures of Tattoos?

    If youre getting a tattoo, especially as an expression of your personality, why would you want the same tattoo as someone else? Instead, find other images of what youre looking for and let your artist draw a custom design for you. Example: If you want to get a tattoo of a penguin standing on a glacier, find real photos of penguins and glaciers. If you want a blue rose tattoo wrapped around a cross, find images of real roses and crosses that you like. If the images dont show exactly what you want, just take them to your artist to use as a guide and tell them what changes you want to make to the original images. A true artist will gladly accept the challenge of creating an individual work.

Stopped to look at their cool window display and they came out to chat and explain how it was built on their 3D printer. They were really lovely and friendly so I decided to pop in and on a whim I got my helix pierced. I'd had trouble with it before as had tried to get it done previously and it had never healed but these folks were great. They explained it all to me, dealt with me quickly and were really nice. Fantastic service overall.

Delphine done an amazing job on my tattoo, it looks amazing, pops out like new. This place is a hidden gem that's not long opened so I'm planning my next inking before word gets out about them and the waiting list gets bigger. Can't fault anything, great value for money, even the environment is so interesting my fave being the life size planet of the apes figure. Thank you so much again and look forward to seeing you soon.

Gavin has assembled a very talented group of young like minded artists so you’ll never feel your getting the short end of the stick when it comes to getting a tattoo. Prices are fair and if i could think of one complaint it is i wish i could give them more money for the quality of work that i have received.

Went to Gavin at Mr bulbs tattoos to have a panther tattoo covered up with a Sci-fi half sleeve based on the Alien films. His work is stunning and you could never tell it’s a cover up and his staff are friendly and always willing to help you. The shop is clean and professional with a nice collectables shop look round whilst you wait.

One portrait which literally looks so identical to my dog that my boyfriends 2 year old pointed to it and said “that’s Squid!” (I have 3 dogs of the same breed so goes to show how lifelike it was. I also had an ink paw print done in dotwork which I took from my older dog when he died which is absolutely spot on and beautiful. I’m so grateful. The work was amazing. The staff so friendly and professional and there’s loads of cool stuff to look at when you’re in the chair. 10/10 guys! I’ll be back 👌🏻

Delphine done an amazing job on my tattoo, it looks amazing, pops out like new. His work is stunning and you could never tell it’s a cover up and his staff are friendly and always willing to help you. One portrait which literally looks so identical to my dog that my boyfriends 2 year old pointed to it and said “that’s Squid!” (I have 3 dogs of the same breed so goes to show how lifelike it was. I also had an ink paw print done in dotwork which I took from my older dog when he died which is absolutely spot on and beautiful. I’m so grateful. The work was amazing. The staff so friendly and professional and there’s loads of cool stuff to look at when you’re in the chair. 10/10 guys! I’ll be back 👌🏻

They were really lovely and friendly so I decided to pop in and on a whim I got my helix pierced. I'd had trouble with it before as had tried to get it done previously and it had never healed but these folks were great. They explained it all to me, dealt with me quickly and were really nice. Fantastic service overall.

One portrait which literally looks so identical to my dog that my boyfriends 2 year old pointed to it and said “that’s Squid!” (I have 3 dogs of the same breed so goes to show how lifelike it was. I also had an ink paw print done in dotwork which I took from my older dog when he died which is absolutely spot on and beautiful. I’m so grateful. The work was amazing. The staff so friendly and professional and there’s loads of cool stuff to look at when you’re in the chair. 10/10 guys! I’ll be back 👌🏻

Stopped to look at their cool window display and they came out to chat and explain how it was built on their 3D printer. They were really lovely and friendly so I decided to pop in and on a whim I got my helix pierced. I'd had trouble with it before as had tried to get it done previously and it had never healed but these folks were great. They explained it all to me, dealt with me quickly and were really nice. Fantastic service overall.

Went in for my first piercing on my nose. Very lovely people, very chatty and welcoming and made me feel relaxed while I was waiting. After my piercing fell out I came back in and they repierced it and gave me a new one for free. Very good service with lovely staff and would recommend.

Just had a surprise Father's Day gift of a old faded tattoo touch up. Wow. The staff were so friendly and covid conscious. Delphine done an amazing job on my tattoo, it looks amazing, pops out like new. This place is a hidden gem that's not long opened so I'm planning my next inking before word gets out about them and the waiting list gets bigger. Very nice, clean, and professional establishment. Refreshments are offered while you wait hospitality is never lacking at Mr Bulb. Gavin has assembled a very talented group of young like minded artists so you’ll never feel your getting the short end of the stick when it comes to getting a tattoo. Prices are fair and if i could think of one complaint it is i wish i could give them more money for the quality of work that i have received.

I have just had a tattoo done on my chest of a Wolf and I am over the moon with the out come. Gavin the artist is very professional in every sense of the word, speciality realism life like. Every detail of the picture was put onto my chest in Ink / Dye. This tattoo was not cheap but you get what you pay for and I am very happy with the result.
