  • Does It Hurt?

    Pain is really relative. Everyone has a different pain tolerance. However, we are not going to joke with you - it really hurts. Just not much. Some compare it to the "feeling of a hot scratch". But people wont come back for tattoo after tattoo if it hurts that much. Most of us dont get hurt, but the beauty of the tattoo and the pride that comes with wearing it far outweighs the pin stick here and there.How about using some kind of anesthetic cream? Such products are really not recommended.

  • How Much Is It Going to Cost?

    When it comes to tattoos, you get what you pay for. Yes, there are many people who get tattoos for a very small fee. But look for quality and be prepared to pay for it. Never bargain over the price of a tattoo. This is disrespectful to the artist. Think of it this way: its a work of art that youll wear for the rest of your life.

  • Should I Tip My Tattoo Artist?

    Tipping is a very nice gesture. But there are no real hard and fast rules for tipping.

  • What Should I Get? And Where?

    Its all a matter of personal taste. You can get whatever you want and whatever your artist is willing to do. You can choose a painting from the wall or have them create a custom piece just for you. The only limit is your own imagination. As for where you should do it, just keep in mind what you do at work and what social circle you are in. You may want to place your tattoo somewhere where it can be easily hidden by regular clothing.

  • What Is the Best Time of Year to Get a Tattoo?

    While you can get a tattoo at any time of the year, your skin is much more exposed in the summer due to swimming, sunbathing, and just more exposure to the elements. Winter time is really the best time for a tattoo.

  • Is It OK to Get a Tattoo if Im Sick?

    Getting a tattoo when your immune system isnt at 100% isnt the best idea. Youll need your strength and white blood cells to heal the tattoo, and your body wont be able to do that if its already fighting viruses and bacteria. Not to mention, its very imprudent to bring your disease into a tattoo studio and risk passing germs on to others, especially your artist. If you have an appointment, call and reschedule until you feel well again.

  • Where Can I Find Pictures of Tattoos?

    If youre getting a tattoo, especially as an expression of your personality, why would you want the same tattoo as someone else? Instead, find other images of what youre looking for and let your artist draw a custom design for you. Example: If you want to get a tattoo of a penguin standing on a glacier, find real photos of penguins and glaciers. If you want a blue rose tattoo wrapped around a cross, find images of real roses and crosses that you like. If the images dont show exactly what you want, just take them to your artist to use as a guide and tell them what changes you want to make to the original images. A true artist will gladly accept the challenge of creating an individual work.

I never like to leave such negative feedback but my experience with getting a piercing at this establishment was ultimately a waste of money and a risk to my health. About seven months ago I got a naval piercing from the company’s piercer and at first all seemed fine. The piercer was very pleasant and the operation was quick. I washed it with salt water every day for six months, keeping in the original jewellery in. I recently attempted to remove said jewellery and ended up bleeding and fainting upon trying to replace it, despite no fear of blood, needles or anything of the sort. I spoke to a doctor about the incident and upon examining it they informed me that the piercing had gone so deep that it was going beneath the subcutaneous fat and had triggering the vagal nerve, causing the collapse. I am quite a slender person so perhaps this just was not taken into account. I was advised to remove it immediately due to the potential of an infection being so dangerous considering how deep I had been pierced. I’d love to know if there’s some possible method for me to receive a refund as the piercing was performed so incorrectly and posed a threat to my well-being. It would be greatly appreciated if this could be offered.

I went there for a daith piercing and the guy was very quick about it which I really appreciated as it was hella painful. However, he pierced it in a skewed plane, such that the ring is slanted in the ear and sticks out of the shell rather than being neatly tucked in, which is not very aesthetically pleasing - a shame really because that was the whole point of the piercing.

I got a double nose piercing, one on each side. Expected to get it symmetrical and clean as its done professionally- i usually do them myself but wanted those done right. The left one came out perfect the right was slightly off and at the wrong angle. Was not impressed, at first glance in the mirror i noticed it wasnt straight and mentioned it. Pretty dissatisfied. The piercer was disagreeing that its ‘dead straight’ and was shaking probably from the confrontation, i wasnt going to argue with an adult man that couldnt see his mistake :’) but it clearly wasnt symmetrical to me, him even saying “i have an eye for things like that’’. I did give him the benefit of the doubt, maybe its still swollen or the stud was twisted but it was slightly off. Ended up taking the right one out same day. Pretty disappointed as i shouldve just done it myself for those results. Would not recommend to be honest, not worth the £25 cockup

The left one came out perfect the right was slightly off and at the wrong angle. Was not impressed, at first glance in the mirror i noticed it wasnt straight and mentioned it. Pretty dissatisfied. The piercer was disagreeing that its ‘dead straight’ and was shaking probably from the confrontation, i wasnt going to argue with an adult man that couldnt see his mistake :’) but it clearly wasnt symmetrical to me, him even saying “i have an eye for things like that’’. I did give him the benefit of the doubt, maybe its still swollen or the stud was twisted but it was slightly off. Ended up taking the right one out same day. Pretty disappointed as i shouldve just done it myself for those results. Would not recommend to be honest, not worth the £25 cockup

Went a couple of weeks ago for my 7th and 8th piercings (ear cartilage). As with the previous times Mark was professional and friendly, piercings were quick and went smoothly, and look totally great. Also quick to offer aftercare support when I caught one of the studs and my ear swelled up. Would and will happily go to mark for all future piercings.

I never like to leave such negative feedback but my experience with getting a piercing at this establishment was ultimately a waste of money and a risk to my health. About seven months ago I got a naval piercing from the company’s piercer and at first all seemed fine. The piercer was very pleasant and the operation was quick. I washed it with salt water every day for six months, keeping in the original jewellery in. I recently attempted to remove said jewellery and ended up bleeding and fainting upon trying to replace it, despite no fear of blood, needles or anything of the sort. I spoke to a doctor about the incident and upon examining it they informed me that the piercing had gone so deep that it was going beneath the subcutaneous fat and had triggering the vagal nerve, causing the collapse. I am quite a slender person so perhaps this just was not taken into account. I was advised to remove it immediately due to the potential of an infection being so dangerous considering how deep I had been pierced. I’d love to know if there’s some possible method for me to receive a refund as the piercing was performed so incorrectly and posed a threat to my well-being. It would be greatly appreciated if this could be offered.

I went there for a daith piercing and the guy was very quick about it which I really appreciated as it was hella painful. However, he pierced it in a skewed plane, such that the ring is slanted in the ear and sticks out of the shell rather than being neatly tucked in, which is not very aesthetically pleasing - a shame really because that was the whole point of the piercing.
