Most of us dont get hurt, but the beauty of the tattoo and the pride that comes with wearing it far outweighs the pin stick here and there.How about using some kind of anesthetic cream? Such products are really not recommended.

Instead, find other images of what youre looking for and let your artist draw a custom design for you. Example: If you want to get a tattoo of a penguin standing on a glacier, find real photos of penguins and glaciers. If you want a blue rose tattoo wrapped around a cross, find images of real roses and crosses that you like. If the images dont show exactly what you want, just take them to your artist to use as a guide and tell them what changes you want to make to the original images. I went to Stigma Studios to get 2 helix piercings and 2 lobe piercings from Jay. One of the helix ones got infected which I thought was probably my fault accidentally touching it or something. However, the doctors seemed to think it was the instrument used because it was a "deep infection" where my hands can't get to. That's what I was told. Ended up losing the helix piercings so basically paid 60 quid for a cauliflower ear for the rest of my life.

Wow so I had my tattoo done a few weeks ago having given two cabs a few pictures of the tattoo I wanted it done. At the time she was very helpful and understood that it was the first tattoo I've ever had. I told her I wanted a small one she i could easily conceal. She talked me into having it bigger as it would fade aweful so I gave it a go. She decided to use a brown for the heart I wanted a bright blood red, but I trusted her as shes the professional. So she did the brown and only after she started I saw the red in the pictures I wanted. But of course she already started and I didn't want to be rude. Next day I said its not the red i asked for as in at least 6 pictures I had sent her. Messaged her the next day and asked me to wait 3 weeks for the tattoo to be fully healed and messaged her saying I wanted a blood red as in all the pictures I had sent her. So she asked me to come in! I came in and see was running 2 hours behind at 5 am that she could only see me at 7pm! So I told her I'd come the next day to help ease her stress! So guess what happened? You would not believe! I turned up at 11am the next day to be insulted and told me I i was lying that I asked for a red i soo didn't want! She went on to tell me my skin colour would alter the result of my tattoos outcome! I am a light skinned asian woman but instead of a red she used a brown red, which I didnt understand as she said it alter the outcome? So if I am Brown skinned would u not use the red ink and not the brown? After all she's the professional or so it seemed. Then her other colleague said she was calling the police because I was asking for a solution because I only wanted a brighter red. She said she was not going to help me correct the tatoo I only did 3 weeks ago baring in mind I messaged two cabs the next day after the tattoo and on the day that the colour was not the one I desired! So as all of this goes on the day two cabs leaves me in reception and She doesn't help find a solution! I try reason with her that all I want is some red put in. She refuses and tells me to leave! Then a woman who im guessing the piercer. Her name is Jay! who threatens me with police. I ask her to unlock the door to let me out but she says that I am Not leaving and she keeps me locked in! I ask her again to let me out the shop and she refuses to unlock the door so I can leave Stigma studios at that point I call the police. She held me against my will not letting me out so I called the police and they came and talked to me! Just because I was unhappy two cabs walked away without helping me with a solution and then locked the door then didnt let me out? There are witnesses to say she refused to let me Out the shop! So I did what she threatened and called the police. I was so scared and nervous! I felt trapped! Honestly the police even told me the only thing u can do is give a bad review and here I am! Don't go here they are nice to your face but are mean aweful people when things don't go to planned! Discusting!

Jay has to be one of the worst piercers in the whole world. I went for an industrial piercing and she BUTCHERED my ear!!! I had to take it out as it was wonky, the bar was too long and it left me with scar tissue. I went to another piercer to see if it was pierced incorrectly or if it was due a fault that was caused my me and I was informed that it was the worst positioned industrial he had ever seen. Avoid Jay if you have any regard for your body. She will belittle you into taking the blame and she is a nasty woman.

Had 2 tattoos done by Hermione and couldn’t recommend her enough! Always have a great chat and she makes sure all tattoos are done to perfection. Love them both! All other staff have all been really friendly when i’ve been there Also had a pet portrait done by her over lockdown and it was amazing!

Just because I was unhappy two cabs walked away without helping me with a solution and then locked the door then didnt let me out? There are witnesses to say she refused to let me Out the shop! So I did what she threatened and called the police. I was so scared and nervous! I felt trapped! Honestly the police even told me the only thing u can do is give a bad review and here I am! Don't go here they are nice to your face but are mean aweful people when things don't go to planned! Discusting!

Absolutely brilliant! Myself and a friend got tattoos earlier this week with Hermione and she was absolutely amazing. Calmed our nerves and made me feel very comfortable. The tattoos look absolutely amazing and she spent time on them to get them looking good. Highly recommend to anyone seeking a tattoo!!

My daughter had her ears pierced by Jay at Stigma and she couldn't have been kinder, more professional or knowledgeable. We were given really clear instructions for aftercare and we are coming back this week to downsize her little studs!

I came here to get my nose and tongue pierced, and to get a dermal anchor removed by Jay. She was brilliant, very calm approach and reassuring, and she explained the aftercare very well. Also, great covid safety measures in place. All the other artists are nice and friendly too. Highly recommended!

Jay has to be one of the worst piercers in the whole world. I went for an industrial piercing and she BUTCHERED my ear!!! I had to take it out as it was wonky, the bar was too long and it left me with scar tissue. I went to another piercer to see if it was pierced incorrectly or if it was due a fault that was caused my me and I was informed that it was the worst positioned industrial he had ever seen. Avoid Jay if you have any regard for your body. She will belittle you into taking the blame and she is a nasty woman.

Had 2 tattoos done by Hermione and couldn’t recommend her enough! Always have a great chat and she makes sure all tattoos are done to perfection. Love them both! All other staff have all been really friendly when i’ve been there Also had a pet portrait done by her over lockdown and it was amazing!

I went to Stigma Studios to get 2 helix piercings and 2 lobe piercings from Jay. One of the helix ones got infected which I thought was probably my fault accidentally touching it or something. However, the doctors seemed to think it was the instrument used because it was a "deep infection" where my hands can't get to. That's what I was told. Ended up losing the helix piercings so basically paid 60 quid for a cauliflower ear for the rest of my life.

Wow so I had my tattoo done a few weeks ago having given two cabs a few pictures of the tattoo I wanted it done. At the time she was very helpful and understood that it was the first tattoo I've ever had. I told her I wanted a small one she i could easily conceal. She talked me into having it bigger as it would fade aweful so I gave it a go. She decided to use a brown for the heart I wanted a bright blood red, but I trusted her as shes the professional. So she did the brown and only after she started I saw the red in the pictures I wanted. But of course she already started and I didn't want to be rude. Next day I said its not the red i asked for as in at least 6 pictures I had sent her. Messaged her the next day and asked me to wait 3 weeks for the tattoo to be fully healed and messaged her saying I wanted a blood red as in all the pictures I had sent her. So she asked me to come in! I came in and see was running 2 hours behind at 5 am that she could only see me at 7pm! So I told her I'd come the next day to help ease her stress! So guess what happened? You would not believe! I turned up at 11am the next day to be insulted and told me I i was lying that I asked for a red i soo didn't want! She went on to tell me my skin colour would alter the result of my tattoos outcome! I am a light skinned asian woman but instead of a red she used a brown red, which I didnt understand as she said it alter the outcome? So if I am Brown skinned would u not use the red ink and not the brown? After all she's the professional or so it seemed. Then her other colleague said she was calling the police because I was asking for a solution because I only wanted a brighter red. She said she was not going to help me correct the tatoo I only did 3 weeks ago baring in mind I messaged two cabs the next day after the tattoo and on the day that the colour was not the one I desired! So as all of this goes on the day two cabs leaves me in reception and She doesn't help find a solution! I try reason with her that all I want is some red put in. She refuses and tells me to leave! Then a woman who im guessing the piercer. Her name is Jay! who threatens me with police. I ask her to unlock the door to let me out but she says that I am Not leaving and she keeps me locked in! I ask her again to let me out the shop and she refuses to unlock the door so I can leave Stigma studios at that point I call the police. She held me against my will not letting me out so I called the police and they came and talked to me!
